Prof. Dr. Zarko Pavic received his doctorate in medicine at the Faculty of Medicine, Universities of Belgrade and Banja Luka, in 1983. He specialized in endocrinology and clinical biochemistry, and had professional training at the Institute of Clinical Chemistry, Ludwig Max. University, Munich, Germany. He was employed at the University of Banja Luka, Faculty of Medicine in Banja Luka, in 1984 as an assistant trainee, and in 2013 he became the rector of the Independent University of Banja Luka, Republika Srpska, BiH. He has been working at the Faculty of Business Economics and Entrepreneurship since 2015 as a full professor of Human Resource Management, Business Ethics and Sociology.
